THE HOMESTEAD PHILOSOPHYMake yourself at home.
Your digital life deserves a place that feels like yours.
Ownership is the starting point.
Homestead is envisioned as a self-hosted platform that brings fragmented household systems into a shared interface. You choose the server, configure the sources and decide how your home works.
A bigger picture.
Movies and music belong alongside family calendars, household inventory and the details of everyday life. Optional plugins can add specialized capabilities while the core stays focused.
Built for the long term.
Local-first design, extensibility and considered interfaces guide the direction. The platform is still taking shape; the roadmap and plan pages distinguish that vision from confirmed availability.
Homestead is actively in development. Features, availability, plan names, pricing and tier inclusions are subject to change. Some functionality is not implemented, and some pages or screenshots contain placeholders. Planned features are not guaranteed for release.
Screenshots show a personal development library. The library owner states that locally stored media comes from purchased copies, authorized sources, or works in the public domain. Discovery and request screens may display titles not present in the local library. Homestead does not supply media or grant rights to download, copy or distribute it. Artwork, titles and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Users are responsible for having the necessary rights to their content.
