What’s included in Free?

The updated Windows preview includes Movies, TV shows, music, books and Photos in Media. Locally archived YouTube and the private Adult library are optional. Family, Live TV, Cloud, Inventory, AI and connected services are disabled in Free.

Server installation

For Unraid, use the Community Apps listing above and review every path before installation. For a manual source install, extract the server ZIP into a new folder, review the included INSTALL.md and media volume paths, then run:

docker compose up -d --build

Open http://YOUR-SERVER-IP:7312 on your home network and complete owner setup. Use a separate app-data folder and port when testing alongside an existing installation.

Preview status

The published Docker image and Unraid Community Apps listing are available for fresh installations. Homestead remains a development preview; paid licensing is still being prepared and this is not yet a production-ready release.
