The development source includes separate media libraries, metadata matching and movie/TV/book collections. Homestead does not supply films, television, music, books or subscription content. Supported formats, playback requirements and source configuration remain unconfirmed.

Screenshots show a personal development library. The library owner states that locally stored media comes from purchased copies, authorized sources, or works in the public domain. Discovery and request screens may display titles not present in the local library. Homestead does not supply media or grant rights to download, copy or distribute it.
